INGREDIENTS: (Products Available Below)
- 1 8-inch graham cracker crust
- 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 3 eggs*, separated (save whites for meringue)
- 1/4 + 1/8 t. cream of tartar
- 1/2 c. sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Wisk together consensed milk, lemon juice, and yolks.
- Pour into crust.
- In a small bow., beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar until hard peaks form when beaters are raised
- Spread meringue over filling and seal to edge of crust.
- Bake at 350 for 15 minutes, or until meringue is golden brown.
- Cool and serve promptly or pie will become runny.
