I bought this vinaigrette dressing and used it it a pasta salad. Instead of adding savory ingredients, i.e. tomatoes, pepperoni, sage etc. to the pasta, added ingredients that cooperated with the sweet vinaigrette.
Combination of pastas; I add a little salt and garlic powder to the cooking water: cheese tortellini, farfalle, gemelli, raddiatore cooked and cold water rinsed to stop the cooking. Drain very well until pasta is a dry as possible.
1/4-1/2 c. diced red onion, diced green pepper.
Seasonings: Cracked pepper; other seasoning to taste.
Dressing: Kraft w/Olive Oil Raspberry Vinagrette. Pour over pastas, diced vegetables, seasonings and mix. Let rest for 1-2 hours to blend flavors.
Carton of red raspberries: When ready to serve, add red raspberries over the surface of the pasta salad. [I have added fresh blueberries or drained mandarin oranges, too.]
The low calorie version of Kraft Raspberry Vinaigrette produced a different version, which was sweeter; the pasta turned a faint purple color.
